Didnt know thier were ticks here but so far our doggy hasn’t had one , the holes under the fences are bad a smaller dog can go under the fence they should be filled in .
This dog park is pretty lame, it’s mostly dirt and weeds. Ticks are insane. There is no water available, although there is one old dog bowl. The small dog side is more overgrown than the large dog side. The space between the first and second gates is totally overgrown, the weeds are well above the ankle. There are poop bags and garbages, but the garbages are usually full and stinky. People love to let their dogs off leash in the grassy area in front of the park, even though dogs are required to be leashed everywhere other than the dog park. Most of these dogs aren’t trained at all and will run up to yours, so definitely not somewhere you want to be with a reactive dog or at least without someone to shoo the other dog away for you. Tons of off leash dogs on the wooded trails behind the park too unfortunately, with super rude owners that act like you’re the problem meanwhile their rambunctious dog is harassing other people and dogs. The bike path is much better, dogs are almost always on a leash there. Plenty of parking but some off leash dogs in the parking lot too, so be careful. Overall not a very pleasant place to be, unfortunately.
