Anna Hyatt Huntington, the internationally famous sculptress, created the lifelike bear and wolf sculptures that greet you when you arrive! The park is named for her father in law, the railroad tycoon responsible for creating the first transcontinental railroad! Legend has it that a small steam paddle wheeler was kept on the largest pond, and is now sunken somewhere in the park waters!
Enjoy the extensive hiking system with your pup, just make sure he’s on a leash!
