History: The current New York City Building was the United Nations’ HQ from 1946-1950
Things to See: there are 11 major monuments throughout the park including the Unisphere, Forms In Motion, The Rocket Thrower, & Freedom of the Human Spirit. A granite monument marks the location of two time capsules designed to last 5,000 years buried in the park!
