Stroll along the park’s 4 piers and take in the sights of midtown Manhattan’s skyline, including the United Nations and Empire State Building. The park has beautiful gardens and a fountain, as well as restored gantries which were once used to load and unload rail car floats, now they serve as a reminder of the waterfront’s history!
Dogs are permitted on paved pathways and plazas during regular park hours 8am-10pm, and are welcome in the dog runs (corner of 48th ave and Vernon Blvd., and Center Blvd between 46th & 47th Avenues.) They are prohibited on all grass, landscaped areas and piers, as well as sports fields, courts and playgrounds
Dog waste bag dispensers have been added to the park pathway areas to help keep the park clean!
