Dogs are allowed on the river. It is recommended that you do not leash dogs while they are in the boat in the event you capsize. Leashed pets can enjoy Smith Falls State Park, the Brewer Bridge Landing, and Fort Niobrara Wildlife Refuge. Enjoy the trails at Fort Niobrara and Smith Falls!
